Compost and sort waste

The camping International of Castellane is involved in a pilot implementation of compost bins in campsites, funded by the Sydevom on General Council of the Alpes de Haute-Provence and ADEME.

Thus, the bungalows are equipped with biobuckets, with which our campers can throw their fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds and tea bags, leftovers, bread … then, the content of the bucket just has to be spilt in the composting bins.

The campsite is also equipped with standard containers for sorting waste glass, packaging, paper, cardboard, plastic bottles …

Solar panels

The main toilet block of the camping international of Castellane, as well as the seasonal apartments are supplied with hot water via solar panels. We thus contribute to your green holidays.

Green spaces

The camping international does not use herbicide for the maintenance of green spaces. We do not water our gardens. And our organic waste are composted.

Saving water and energy

 All our mobile homes are equipped with low energy bulbs and well as the alleys down the campsite.
 Our showers are equipped with pressure reducing valves and timers.
 The campsite also has a rainwater collector.

Ecological household products

The camping international of Castellane use cleaning detergents which are not petrochemicals but based on biosurfactants (those that eat oil at sea), 100% biodegradable and not harmful to the human body.
